About
We invite photographers to create powerful, expressive imagery in black-and-white photography—where color is absent, and movement becomes the central protagonist of the frame.
The goal of this category is to convey dynamics, rhythm, and energy of an object’s motion through time and space. Photographs should capture a moment of movement so that the viewer feels tension, the passage of time, and continuity of action. Movement must be the core compositional element, drawing the viewer into the scene and evoking an emotional response.
Accepted:
Black-and-white photographs deliberately processed in monochrome or shot directly in B/W mode
Works on any subject where object motion is the key element
Not accepted:
Color photographs, including partially colored images, sepia, infrared effects, and pseudo-monochrome
Entries in which movement is not perceptible or not the dominant feature
Excessive post-processing that distorts reality: adding or removing objects, combining frames—except for long exposures and sequences produced within a single shooting session
Vote
Viewers' votes are accepted during the submission period and for several days after completion.

This is Express Contest, launched in test mode. This is a thematic photo contest with slight modifications, where we are trying out a new voting system. Despite these innovations, the essence of the contest remains the same—to share your best photos on a given theme and be inspired by the works of others.
During the contest, we will closely monitor participant activity and feedback. We may make adjustments to make the contest even more interesting and engaging for everyone. Please be aware that some errors or issues may arise during the process. We are promptly addressing them and strive to quickly implement any necessary changes.
