We invite you to capture one of the strongest emotions in the world — maternal love and care.
It could be a portrait, a wildlife shot, a still life, a landscape, or even a metaphor expressed through conceptual photography — format doesn't matter. What matters is emotion in the frame: tenderness, protection, attention, devotion, and the feeling of warmth and safety.
A mother with her child, an animal with its offspring, a tree branch sheltering a young sapling — anything that conveys the unconditional care with which a mother protects her young.
Let your photograph become a story about love that needs no words — about the strength that nourishes, warms, and gives life.
Accepted:
Photographs clearly conveying the bond between a mother and her offspring — humans, animals, plants, or metaphorical images symbolizing care and protection
All genres are welcome, including staged, documentary, and spontaneous real-life moments
Inclusion of surroundings is encouraged, provided they enhance the story without distracting from it
Not accepted:
Images where the "mother–child" connection is unclear, vague, or secondary, and expressions of care, closeness, and maternal instinct are weakly conveyed
Photos in which the main focus shifts to unrelated objects, people, or décor rather than the emotional bond itself
Post-processing that alters the content of the image, adds elements, or involves collage techniques. Images must remain natural, representing genuine moments without digital manipulation
Vote
Viewers' votes are accepted during the submission period and for several days after completion.
Prize
Increase the limit to the load for the main contest 35AWARDS. Extensive coverage of the winner photos, as well as 10 of the best photos of the competition.

Not accepted:
- Similar images (similar combination of objects, cropping, different shooting angle, or change of photo tone)
- Artificial color changes in graphic editors
- Collages and composite images
* A photo that has won in other 35AWARDS contests cannot enter the best photos of this contest. Only one photo of the author can enter the number of the best photos of this competition.
** Images that do not match can be removed from the competition.
This is Express Contest, launched in test mode. This is a thematic photo contest with slight modifications, where we are trying out a new voting system. Despite these innovations, the essence of the contest remains the same—to share your best photos on a given theme and be inspired by the works of others.
During the contest, we will closely monitor participant activity and feedback. We may make adjustments to make the contest even more interesting and engaging for everyone. Please be aware that some errors or issues may arise during the process. We are promptly addressing them and strive to quickly implement any necessary changes.
