About
A female studio portrait is more than just a photograph — it’s a dialogue of light, gaze, and space. Within the studio walls, everything serves one purpose: to reveal the woman. Without masks. Without distractions. Just her — her posture, her eyes, her energy. Every shadow, every ray of light — a deliberate choice.
We accept studio portraits of women over 18, where the model occupies at least two-thirds of the frame and remains the sole focus. Other people may be present, but attention must stay on her. The emphasis is on character, presence, and inner state — not on nudity. Images featuring nudity will not be considered.
We’re not looking for technical perfection, but for artistic intent: the play of light, depth of expression, emotional resonance. Even in minimalism, we want to feel the photographer behind the lens.
Accepted:
- Studio portraits of women aged 18 and older, with the model occupying at least two-thirds of the frame and serving as the central focus of the composition.
- The inclusion of other people is permitted only if the woman remains the unequivocal focal point of the image.
- Submissions using either artificial or natural light are accepted, provided the photograph was taken in a controlled studio environment.
Not accepted:
- Images featuring nudity.
- Portraits of models under the age of 18.
- Photographs in which the woman occupies less than two-thirds of the frame or is not the dominant subject of the composition.
- Works created outside a studio setting (including street, outdoor, natural, or any non-studio locations).
